Einsi Kaldi, on the ground floor of Hótel Vestmannaeyjar on the island of Heimaey, is the Westman Islands’ premier fine-dining address. The room is elegant and modern, with mood lighting that sets the tone for an upscale evening.

The kitchen builds a refined à la carte menu around fresh local produce, with a focus on seafood, Icelandic lamb and island specialities — monkfish and langoustine have featured among its signature plates.

Hours expand to seven days a week with lunch service in summer, while the off-season focuses on Thursday-to-Saturday dinners. Reservations are recommended given the limited capacity.
