Hvalfjörður, also known as the Whale Fjord, is located in West Iceland. In here, you will find Glymur, the second highest waterfall in the country: approximately 198 meters high.
The landscape of Hvalfjörður is beautiful: a lot of trees, a thermal pool, and an old military base. In 1998, an undersea tunnel was constructed for public traffic, so now Hvalfjörður is a very calm place.
