Flúðir

If you are looking for a nice and calm place in Iceland (you will find a lot of them), Flúðir is perfect in the summer! Located in the municipality of Hrunamannahreppur in South Iceland, Flúðir is one of the places with the best weather in the country.

We have been going camping in Flúðir for a couple of times, and it is great. The camping site is easy to find, and it has a big area for parking vans, cars, and your campers. If you are in Flúðir don’t forget to go to the Secret Lagoon, and then eat at Flúðasveppir – Farmers Bistro. It is the only mushroom farm in the country, and it is delicious!
