Layover or landing early? Start your trip with Iceland’s best: hot springs, wild lava, and local charm.

The drive from Keflavík International Airport to Reykjavík is short. This tour makes it extraordinary. Rather than heading directly to the city, your private group sets out across the Reykjanes Peninsula – one of Iceland's most raw and atmospheric landscapes – soaks in the world-famous Blue Lagoon, and ends the day with a guided introduction to the Icelandic capital.

A scenic drive across the peninsula's ancient lava fields leads to the Bridge Between Continents near Hafnir, where a pedestrian footbridge spans the rift between the Eurasian and North American landmasses. From there, the route continues to Reykjanesviti – Iceland's oldest active lighthouse – on a windswept headland at the peninsula's southwestern tip. The dark sea cliffs of Valahnúkamöl, the roaring steam vents and boiling mud of Gunnuhver, and the wave-carved Brimketill lava rock pool complete a journey through scenery that most visitors to Iceland never reach.

The Blue Lagoon follows – set in a striking lava landscape near Grindavík, its warm waters are among the most recognisable sights in Iceland. Entry is included in the tour price. Facilities include changing rooms, towel rental, an in-water bar, and an on-site restaurant. Optional spa treatments are available to book directly with the lagoon. Time here is yours to enjoy fully at your own pace.

The final section of the tour moves into Reykjavík. The Sun Voyager sculpture on the seafront, the glass-panelled Harpa concert hall, the historic Austurvöllur Square, the colourful houses of Skólavörðustígur, and the soaring silhouette of Hallgrímskirkja give an authentic introduction to a capital that rewards every first impression. At the end of the tour, your private vehicle delivers you to your Reykjavík accommodation.
