Narfeyrarstofa

Housed in a historic building from 1908 in the heart of the old town, Narfeyrarstofa is a family-run restaurant and café and the oldest still operating in Stykkishólmur. The kitchen prepares everything from scratch, with a strong emphasis on creativity and locally sourced ingredients.

Breiðafjörður blue mussels feature when in season alongside artfully plated fish and lamb dishes, and the menu also includes hamburgers that regulars rate highly. With limited seating across two cosy floors, reservations are recommended, especially in the evenings.
