We're excited to invite you to our Icelandic Wellness Retreat, where we'll explore the landscapes of Iceland while nurturing our minds and bodies 🧘🏼♀️ We'll start in Reykjavík with a guided city walk, followed by adventures like hiking to waterfalls and snorkeling between tectonic plates. We'll unwind with a yoga session, relax in natural spas, and enjoy delicious meals together. ⛰️
This retreat is all about connection—connecting with nature, with ourselves, and with each other. We'll share laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments as we explore this incredible country together. Whether we're hiking through the highlands or enjoying a farewell dinner, every moment is designed to leave you feeling refreshed, inspired, and part of a special community of Viking Women!

Arrive in the vibrant city of Reykjavík and kick off your adventure with a guided walking tour! Stroll through the charming streets, uncovering fascinating stories about Iceland’s history, culture, and quirky traditions. It’s the perfect way to get to know your fellow Viking Women and set the tone for the exciting journey ahead!
Check-in at the hotel begins at 15:00, with luggage storage available. The meeting point is at the hotel reception at 15:30 for introductions and the city walk, followed by a welcome dinner at 18:00.
Travelers are responsible for arranging their own transportation from Keflavík Airport to Reykjavík. Let the adventure begin!

Today we’ll start our adventure by visiting the Geysir geothermal area, where the ground bubbles and steams and sometimes puts on a fascinating eruption show! Next up is the awe-inspiring Gullfoss or “Golden Waterfall” which is truly impressive and one of Iceland’s most iconic attractions.
At 11:00 we’ll buckle up for a thrilling super jeep joyride through the enchanting “Lady Mountains” – our entrance to the magnificent Icelandic Highlands!
Once we reach the heart of the highlands, we’ll get settled into our cozy Deluxe rooms, enjoy a tasty lunch, and then embark on today’s epic hike—nature’s own adventure! But hey, if hiking’s not your jam, no worries—relax yourself into the soothing Highland Baths and soak your worries away. Adventure or chill, the choice is yours!

Today, we’re deep in the wild wonderland of the highlands! Grab your hiking boots and crampons and let’s get ready for an adventure. We’ll be taking on a 12 km hike (about 7.5 miles) with a climb of about 400 meters (or about 1300 ft). Don’t worry, we’ll take it easy – enjoying the views, sharing laughs, and snapping plenty of photos to prove we conquered the highlands!
After our hike, we’ll unwind in the hotel’s nature baths. It’s the perfect way to relax those tired muscles. And to top off the day, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner that will leave your taste buds happy!
By the way, did you know that the highlands are home to some of Iceland’s most unique landscapes, shaped by volcanic activity over thousands of years? It’s truly a special place to explore!

Let’s start the day with a delicious breakfast and a warm cup of coffee. Since our mighty super jeep isn’t leaving until 1:00 PM, we’ve got a little extra time to soak up the highland magic and grab a tasty lunch before we hit the road!
Get ready for an exciting afternoon as we arrive at our fabulous ION Hotel. We’ll be greeted with bubbly champagne and breathtaking views that will make your jaw drop. Cheers to an unforgettable stay!
Once settled we will enjoy a hike in the area which is sure to capture your heart (and your phone for a selfie!). Our trail is a 7 km (about 4.5 miles) loop that takes about three hours, and it’s full of amazing views.
Activity: 7 km length (4.5 miles) / 200 m height (650 ft)

Let’s kick off the day with a gentle yoga session to get us feeling relaxed and centered. After stretching, we’re off on an amazing snorkeling adventure! We’ll explore the unique spot between the tectonic plates, where we can marvel at the incredible power and beauty of nature. It’s a truly surreal experience that will leave us in awe. This snorkeling spot is one of the few places in the world where you can swim between two continents, so get ready for an unforgettable splash!

It’s time to say goodbye to our incredible Icelandic adventure and the amazing friends we’ve made along the way! As we leave Nesjavellir, we’re taking with us a bunch of fantastic memories that will stay with us forever.
The drive to Keflavík International Airport from ION Hotel is about 1.5 hours. If you’re flying out today, it’s a good idea to book an afternoon flight since our airport transfer only makes one group stop. If you’re not ready to say goodbye just yet, you can always join your Viking Women guide for a ride back to Reykjavík after dropping off at the airport. It’s a great chance to squeeze in a little more exploration before heading home!

Note: Some hikes will be easy (soft, packed dirt and pebble paths), while other areas will be challenging, including steep ascents and descents on trails covered in snow and ice. For this reason, hiking shoes are mandatory (waterproof hiking boots are strongly recommended), hiking crampons, as is a lightweight backpack that can carry at least 1 L of water, snacks and a lightweight, breathable jacket. A full tour itinerary and packing list will be sent to the group closer to the tour date.
Accommodation will be offered in twin or single rooms.
Maximum capacity for each tour is 14 people. Minimum participants are 6 people.
