Departing from Reykjavík, you’ll visit Þingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. Here, you’ll take part in a guided snorkeling tour in Silfra Fissure, wearing a dry suit and led by a certified instructor. The experience is safe, well-paced, and suitable for beginners, with exceptional underwater visibility.

After snorkeling, the journey continues to the Geysir geothermal area to see active hot springs, followed by the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. The day ends at Kerið Crater, known for its red slopes and turquoise lake.

Dive into one of the world’s most remarkable snorkeling sites — the Silfra Fissure, where you can literally swim between two continents!
Guided by a certified PADI Divemaster, you’ll be provided with all the necessary equipment including a dry suit, thermal underlayer, mask, and fins. The water here is glacially pure, filtered for decades through volcanic rock, offering visibility up to 100 meters.
After your dive, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and cookies to warm up before continuing the journey.
Thingvellir National Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Thingvellir National Park serves as the starting point of the tour. Here, among the magnificent setting of Iceland’s historic parliamentary grounds, travellers have the singular opportunity to wander between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Jarðhitasvæði Geysir
The tour continues to the well-known Geysir geothermal area, where the sheer power of the Earth is on full display. It is nothing short of amazing to see the Strokkur geyser erupt spectacularly, blasting jets of hot water and steam into the sky. Enjoy some free time here for lunch (self-paid) at the nearby restaurant or café before exploring the bubbling hot springs and steaming vents.
Gullfoss Waterfall
On this incredible adventure, Gullfoss, or the “Golden Waterfall,” is the next stop. Here, the Hvtá River makes a dramatic descent into a rough canyon that is frequently decorated with colourful rainbows, producing a scene of utter strength and magnificence.
Kerid Crater
End your day at the striking Kerid Crater, a volcanic caldera filled with vivid blue-green water surrounded by red lava rocks. Take a short walk around the rim or descend to the crater lake for breathtaking views before heading back to Reykjavík.
Evening – Return to Reykjavík
