This carbon-neutral Iceland South Coast tour is ideal for nature lovers who want to explore Iceland’s top attractions in a single day. You'll visit the stunning Seljalandsfoss og Skógafoss fossar, ganga meðfram fræga Reynisfjara svart sandströnd, dáist að Sólheimajökull, og kanna heillandi þorp af Vík. Allt þetta er pakkað inn í fallega dagsferð frá Reykjavík, sem býður upp á stórkostlegt útsýni á leiðinni.
Suðurstrandarferðin þín á Íslandi hefst með þægilegum pallbíl í Reykjavík. Þegar við förum úr borginni breytist landslagið fljótt í stórkostlegt útsýni yfir mosaþakið hraun, stórkostleg fjöll og veltandi akra og beitilönd með lausagönguhestum og kindum.
You'll also see glacier-capped volcanoes, including the infamous Eyjafjallajökli og Katla, öflugt eldfjall falið undir gríðarstóru Mýrdaljökull. Hver míla af akstrinum býður upp á eitthvað ógnvekjandi, sem gerir ferðina eftir þessari fallegu leið alveg eins eftirminnilegt og áfangastaðir sjálfir.
Við munum stoppa á nokkrum af fullkomnustu stöðum Íslands, þar á meðal háum fossum, svörtum sandströndum og stórkostlegu útsýni yfir jökulinn. Þetta er ógleymanleg upplifun sem sýnir sannarlega náttúrufegurð landsins.

Sólhómajökull: Witness the majestic Sólheimajökull glacier, which has shaped the surrounding terrain. Here, you'll have the chance to see how Iceland’s glaciers are retreating and forming stunning natural features, like the serene iceberg-filled lake at the glacier’s base.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach: Explore the iconic black sands of Reynisfjara Beach, known for its towering basalt columns, striking Reynisdrangar sea stacks, and picturesque cave. This awe-inspiring location was listed as one of the world's best beaches by National Geographic – for a good reason.
Vínþorp: Experience the charm of Vík, Iceland's southernmost village. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and home to vibrant birdlife, it’s the perfect place to take in the region’s coastal beauty.
Seljalandsfoss: Gakktu á bak við fossandi vatn Seljalandsfoss, sjaldgæf og spennandi upplifun. Þessi einstaki foss er einn frægasti staður Íslands, sem er settur á bakgrunn Eyjafjallajökulsins.Ekki gleyma regnfrakkanum þínum!

Skógafoss is an iconic Icelandic waterfall, it is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail over into Þórsmörk. The waterfall was also used in filming Thor: The Dark World and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Vík is a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs. Population: 300
We will also stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt. It is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland but can be dangerous, and we kindly ask our guest not to go too close to the ocean and go by guidelines.
Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks just off the coast of Reynisfjara. They can be seen well from there and from Vík
We stop by Sólheimajökull and walk up to a small lake which has formed in front of the retreating glacier.
Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljalandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to walk behind it.
Departure from BSÍ Bus Terminal – City Center, Reykjavik.
