Join us for an epic ATV expedition where we take you deep into the untamed wilderness surrounding the city, blending ancient landscapes, with modern speed . Our journey leads through hidden, long-forgotten and hidden valleys and up to the formidable peaks of the Reykjavik hills. From the top, riders can enjoy a magnificent view over the rift valley volcanoes and the Great Capital Area of Reykjavík—the very same "Smoky Bay" named by the first Viking settlers over a millennium ago.

Keep your eyes open! We often spot the sturdy descendants of the original Viking horses or roaming sheep close to the track. Depending on conditions, we will make stops at several scenic locations to take photos and share legendary tales about the local area, the sagas, and Iceland's raw nature.

Lengd: Approximately 2 hours riding time (3 hours total with pickup and drop-off).
Hópstærð: Maximum of 8 people (bookable online). Large groups of up to 20 are available by special request.

Pickup & Location: We offer pickup from most hotels in the Reykjavik area. Please note that the City of Reykjavik has established non-pickup zones in the downtown area to reduce traffic. If you are staying downtown, we will pick you up from the nearest designated Tourist Bus Stop.

You can find the stop closest to your accommodation at www.busstop.is.
If you prefer to meet us on location, our basecamp is only a 20-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik.

Pricing & Requirements:

Solo vs. Shared: Two people can ride on each quad bike. Prices are per person.
Shared Ride: You must be two participants to book this option.
Solo Ride: If you are a single rider, or if your group has an odd number of people (e.g., 3, 5, 7), you must book at least one Solo Ride.
Age Limit: Children up to 17 years old pay the child rate and ride as passengers with an adult.
Ökuskírteini: A fully valid driving license is required to operate the ATV.

Fata Ráð (Kjóll fyrir veðrið!):

Vetur /kaldir dagar: Vindur kuldinn á fjórhjólinu getur verið mjög kalt! Við mælum eindregið með því að vera með hitagrunnslög, hlý peysa (ull eða flís) og þykkir sokkar.
Aukahlutir: Þunnur hattur og a hálshitari (buff) eða trefil er mjög mælt með því að vera undir hjálminum.

The ATV Reykjavik Adventure and View takes you deeper into the raw Icelandic wilderness.
On this extended 2-hour journey, we venture beyond the usual paths, navigating through hidden valleys and riding alongside the beautiful Lake Hafravatn before conquering the heights of Reykjavik Peak.

Before we head up the mountain, we enjoy a thrilling yet scenic ride where we often spot friendly Icelandic horses and make stops for the perfect photos.
From the summit, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view over the capital area and neighboring towns.

On a clear day, the sights from the top are truly epic: you can spot the rugged lava fields near Hafnarfjörður, the majestic Snæfellsjökull Glacier in the distance, and the dramatic mountains of the Reykjanes Peninsula—home to Iceland's recent volcanic eruptions!

- Lengd: 2 hours riding time (approx. 3.5 hours total with pickup/drop-off).
- Shared vs. Solo: Standard bookings are for a Sameiginleg ferð, meaning two people share one ATV. If you are traveling alone, or if your group has an odd number of people, please select the Solo Ride option during booking.
- Requirements: All drivers must hold and present a fully valid driving license.

Líkamlegar takmarkanir: Þessi starfsemi er ekki mælt með fyrir ferðamenn með bakvandamál eða barnshafandi ferðamenn vegna ójafnrar náttúru gönguleiðanna.
Aðgengi: Því miður er þessi ferð ekki hjólastólaaðgengilegt.
