Landbrotalaug

Landbrotalaug is not only a small hot spring. Enjoying the warm water of this natural spring is one thing, but experiencing it with the stunning view over Snæfellsnesjökull is something different. Getting to Landbrotalaug can be a little bit difficult. From road 54, pass the sign that says Stóra Hraun, and following the path past a small farm, you will get to a small parking lot. From here, you will for sure have to wait your turn.

Usually, people take between 20 to 30 minutes inside the pool, letting others that are waiting to take their turn. This is a natural hot spring, so you will not find any place to change or leave your things. Come prepared to enjoy a truly natural beauty.
