Dynjandi

Dynjandi is composed of a series of 7 different waterfalls. Its name translates to “thunderous,” and you will notice this when you hear the sound and see the magnitude of the water it moves. Dynjandi, located in the Westfjords, is one of the artists ideal spot for photos. Known also as ‘The Jewel of the Westfjords,’ this waterfall is 100 meters tall with a trapezoidal shape, and it moves until eight cubic meters of water per second in Summertime and lowers to 1 cubic meter in winter.
