Fimmvörðuháls, Iceland
The Sun Voyager or Sólfar in Icelandic is a sculpture created in 1990 by artist Jón Gunnar Árnason. It represents an ode to the sun symbolizing the promise of undiscovered territory and a dream of freedom.
The sculpture is located next to the Sæbraut road in Reykjavík, and it is a stop for most of the tourists visiting the city.
