Set off on an unforgettable Golden Circle adventure and experience Iceland’s most stunning natural wonders. This full-day tour is operated by one of our trusted local partners and is perfect for travelers of all ages and backgrounds.
The tour starts with a pickup in Reykjavik City at 09:00 am. From there, we travel through mountains, lava fields, and glacial rivers—the drive alone is a visual feast! Along the way, you’ll see geothermal plants steaming in the distance and Iceland’s rugged landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see.
Our first stop is Þingvellir National Park, Iceland’s historic site and a UNESCO World Heritage location. Walk through the rift between the European and North American tectonic plates, explore old Viking battlegrounds, and take in the incredible scenery of this unique national park.
Next, we visit Bruarfoss Waterfall, often called “Iceland’s Bluest Waterfall.” Its turquoise waters tumble over dark lava rocks, surrounded by lush moss, creating a magical scene that’s perfect for photography and peaceful exploration.
From there, we continue to the Geysir Geothermal Area, a hot spot of boiling mud pools and erupting geysers. Watch Strokkur shoot a column of hot water up to 20 meters into the air every few minutes—an awe-inspiring natural spectacle!
Our journey then takes us to Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Feel the power of the Hvítá river as it cascades down in two stages into a dramatic canyon. With the right weather, you may even spot stunning rainbows forming over the falls. This is also a convenient stop for lunch and souvenirs (food not included).
We make our way to Kerið Volcanic Crater, a striking red crater lake set amidst fields and meadows. Walk around the rim or descend to the water’s edge to admire the vivid colors and serene beauty of this volcanic formation.
After the last stop, we return to Reykjavik (around 60 minutes) and drop you off at your hotel or designated bus stop.
