Your private guide will meet you at Djúpivogur harbour or your accommodation. After a short introduction, we begin the scenic drive south along the coast.
We leave Djúpivogur and follow the coastline through quiet fjord landscapes, with mountain views, coastal scenery and photo opportunities along the way.
Depending on weather and timing, we make selected scenic stops near Hvalnes and the surrounding coastal area, where dramatic mountains meet the Atlantic coastline.
The main highlight of the tour is Stokksnes, with views of the iconic Vestrahorn mountain, black sand beaches, dunes and reflections when conditions are right. There will be time for photography, short walks and enjoying the landscape at a relaxed pace.
If time allows, we can make a short coffee or refreshment stop before heading back toward Djúpivogur. Meals and drinks are not included.
We return to Djúpivogur with enough time planned around your ship schedule or onward travel plans. Final stops may be adjusted depending on weather, road conditions and available time.
This is an easy private scenic tour with short walks at selected photo stops. The tour does not involve a long hike, but guests should be able to walk short distances on uneven ground, black sand and natural surfaces.
