  Highlights of the Tour:

  • Seljalandsfoss Waterfall: On our way to the Westman Islands, we’ll stop at this stunning 60-meter high waterfall, allowing you to experience its beauty up close and even take a walk behind the falls for a unique viewpoint.
  • Westman Islands Exploration: Once on the islands, we’ll visit all the must-see spots, including:Eldfell Volcano: The volcano that erupted in 1973, creating dramatic changes to the landscape. You have the option to hike to the top for panoramic views or visit the interactive Eldheimar Museum to learn more about the eruption’s impact.
    Stórhöfði: Known as the windiest place in Europe, this viewpoint also offers a chance to see puffins up close during the summer months.
    Elephant Rock: One of the island’s most iconic natural formations, this basalt sea cliff looks just like an elephant’s head emerging from the ocean.
    Herjólfsdalur Valley: A historically significant site that hosts Iceland’s biggest annual festival. You can also visit Herjólfstown, a replica of the first settlement on the island.
  • Dining Experience: We’ll stop at one of the many great local restaurants on the islands, tailored to your preferences, for a delicious meal.
  • Optional Boat Tour: For those interested, a boat tour around the Westman Islands can be arranged, where you’ll witness dramatic sea cliffs, a variety of seabirds, and hidden sea caves. (Boat tickets can be purchased separately here).
