On our way to the Westman Islands we will travel from Reykjavík to Seljalandsfoss. we’ll stop at this stunning 60-meter high waterfall, allowing you to experience its beauty up close and even take a walk behind the falls for a unique viewpoint. There we give plenty of time to enjoy this sight and even for walking all around the waterfall itself!
The volcano that erupted here in Westman Islands in 1973, creating dramatic changes to the landscape. You have the option to hike to the top for amazing panoramic views of the both sides of the island or visit the interactive Eldheimar Museum to learn more about the eruption’s impact on the entire society here.
