  • On our way to the Westman Islands we will travel from Reykjavík to Seljalandsfoss. we’ll stop at this stunning 60-meter high waterfall, allowing you to experience its beauty up close and even take a walk behind the falls for a unique viewpoint. There we give plenty of time to enjoy this sight and even for walking all around the waterfall itself!
  • The volcano that erupted here in Westman Islands in 1973, creating dramatic changes to the landscape. You have the option to hike to the top for amazing panoramic views of the both sides of the island or visit the interactive Eldheimar Museum to learn more about the eruption’s impact on the entire society here.
  • Stórhöfði: Known as the windiest place in Europe, this viewpoint also offers a chance to see puffins up close during the summer months.
  • One of the island’s most iconic natural formations and internet viral sensation, this basalt sea cliff looks just like an elephant’s head emerging from the ocean.
  • The Herjólfsdalur Valley is a historically significant site that hosts Iceland’s biggest annual festival called ‘Þjóðhátíð’, hosting yearly around 20.000 people of an island with only around 5.000 locals! You can also visit Herjólfstown, a replica of the first settlement on the island.
