The snorkeling itself takes place at Park Narodowy Þingvellir, where the Silfra Fissure cuts through the earth between two continents. Participants must be able to swim independently.
Height requirement: minimum 150cm, maximum 200cm.
Weight requirement: minimum 45kg, maximum 120kg.
Pregnant participants are not permitted to snorkel in Silfra.
Participants aged 65 and over may be required to provide a doctor's certificate of fitness.
