Enjoy a family-friendly horseback ride on an Icelandic horse, enjoy light lunch at Hótel Eldhestar, relax in a warm hotpot and steam bath. Suitable for all riding levels, with horses matched to your experience.

Let an adorable Icelandic horse heat your body and soul! After one hour on horseback, riders can soften up in the big and warm hotpot in Hveragerði’s famous swimming pool, where there is also a steam sauna for the really brave. Imagine sitting in the steamy water as a light snowfall turns the grass around you white. At Hótel Eldhestar we then have a light lunch.

Swimsuit and towel. Please wear clothes according to weather and solid shoes. We recommend hiking boots.

Let op

1 hour riding, followed by swimming and a light lunch at Hotel Eldhestar. Pick-up in Reykjavik elke dag om 08:00. Return to Reykjavík ca. 13:00. Bring a swimsuit and a towel. This tour is offered from the 1st of September until the 30th of April. Note that pick up from hotels in Hafnarfjörður, Kópavogur en Mosfellsbær is bij 7:30 and pick up from Hveragerði and Selfoss is at 8:45. Please let us know if there are any dietary needs like if there are allergies or vegetarians. Please double check your booking a day or two before arrival for the pick up location, as the bus stops may change without notice.
