Departing from Reykjavík, this expedition targets the Þórisjökull glacier and the mountains just beyond the city’s reach. We navigate past the vertical cliffs of フヴァルフィヨルズル and the elusive グリムール滝 before heading toward the ice. The flight also traces the skyline of the Skjaldbreiður volcano and the セスィングヴェリル rift valley, allowing you to see the fracture in the earth where the tectonic plates continue their slow divide.
