The flight heads toward the dramatic Hvalfjörður to find Glymur, Iceland’s second-highest waterfall, tucked deep within a rugged canyon. The route offers views of the massive Skjaldbreiður, a 9,000-year-old shield volcano that dominates the horizon, before following the path of ancient lava flows toward the ENTRAMingvellir rift. The return leg explores the steaming geothermal zones of the Hengill area, showcasing the constant energy of the volcanic interior.

Calzature: Sturdy hiking or winter boots are recommended, as our landings often take place on uneven mountain terrain or snow.
Layers: We suggest wearing several warm layers regardless of the season.
Cabin Comfort: The helicopter is heated; you are welcome to store large winter coats in our baggage compartment during the flight.
