This tour covers the most significant recent eruption sites on the Penisola di Reykjanes, specifically the Fagradalsfjall e Sundhnúkur areas. While volcanic activity is unpredictable and sightings of flowing lava or active eruptions cannot be guaranteed, seeing these fresh geological formations from above is extraordinary. The route then pivots past the steaming Hengill volcanic system and the tectonic rifts of ENTRAMingvellir toward the Þórisjökull glacier for a remote landing, returning via the deep canyons of Hvalfjörður e Cascata di Glymur.

Calzature: Sturdy hiking or winter boots are recommended, as our landings often take place on uneven mountain terrain or snow.
Layers: We suggest wearing several warm layers regardless of the season.
Cabin Comfort: The helicopter is heated; you are welcome to store large winter coats in our baggage compartment during the flight.
