From Reykjavík, we drive towards Ghiacciaio Mýrdalsjökull, where the volcano Katla is. There we get our ATVs (all-terrain vehicles/quads) and start the adventure. We will cross rivers, and go to the Sólheimasandur beach where the famous DC-3 aircraft wreck is.
On this fun adventurous tour, we will experience different landscapes and magnificent Icelandic flatland.
The abandoned DC-3 plane wreck has been photographed by countless travellers, and filmed in a Bollywood movie and several TV commercials. It was also featured in the 2007 Sigur Rós documentary and in Justin Bieber's "I'll Show You" music video.

To make this tour even more special, we will stop at the magnificent Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which you can walk behind of, and Skógafoss cascata.

We stop at Hvolsvöllur on the way where you can buy lunch or you can pack your own lunch and bring it with you on the tour. We recommend to sit down for lunch before the ride and maybe have a light snack afterwards.
Requirements: The driver needs a valid driver’s license.
Solo travelers and groups with odd numbers need to pay a single rider fee at location.
