Trading on the main street of Sauðárkrókur’s old town, Sauðárkróksbakarí is among the oldest bakeries in Iceland, with roots stretching back to the 1880s.
Alongside a wide selection of breads and traditional Icelandic pastries, it serves hot and cold sandwiches and soup, with seating for around forty inside and out.
It’s the obvious — and charming — stop for breakfast, coffee or a quick lunch while exploring the Skagafjörður region.
Ferðalög ábendingar, nýjar leiðsögumenn og heads-up þegar norðurljósaspáin lítur vel út. Engin ruslpóstur.
