Join David the Guide for an adventure from Reykjavik to the Glacier Lagoon and South Coast. This 14hr tour will show you the highlights of the South Cost all the way to Glacier Lagoon.
First, we begin with a pickup in Reykjavik from your closest bus stop if lodging in downtown Reykjavik or accommodation in Reykjavik. Then the adventure begins.
The day’s first stop is at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can even walk behind the waterfall. From there, you will continue your fantastic first day around the South Coast.
Your knowledgeable guide will keep you informed about each stop as we continue to explore:
Gljufrabui waterfall- which is a hidden waterfall next to Seljlandsafoss
Skogafoss waterfall- where you can get close to the waterfall (be prepared!), and even climb stairs to the top for some spectacular viewpoints.
Reynisfjara- the famous black sand beach with its basalt cliffs. This beach is beautiful but also dangerous, make sure to follow all signs about not getting close to the water due to sneaker waves.
Next, you will visit the famous Diamond Beach, only a short drive from Jokulsarlon. This black sand beach got its name from the numerous chunks of ice scattered across the sand, which sparkle like diamonds when the sunlight hits them.
If time allows we may make bonus stops at: Dyrholaey rock formation, Vik Church, Eldhraun Lava Fields, or other. Please note these stops can not be guaranteed.

The terrain can be rocky, so we advise wearing sturdy boots and a waterproof jacket. There is a cafe we stop at, but if you have dietary preferences, you are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or any snacks you might need, this is a 14 hour tour.
Ferðalög ábendingar, nýjar leiðsögumenn og heads-up þegar norðurljósaspáin lítur vel út. Engin ruslpóstur.
