Our experienced guides will take you on a kayaking journey through the beautiful fjord, providing you with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife.

Siglufjörður is known across Iceland for its history and outstanding natural beauty. On this tour we adapt our kayak training to meet your needs before setting off in search of adventure and wildlife.

We will discover the local geology and natural history that created the landscape as we see it today and the human influence that continues to shape it.

In our beginner friendly, small groups, we paddle together at a relaxed pace to explore Siglufjörður and “leave no trace”.

Life vest / PFD / Buoyancy Aid
Drysuit – sealed suit to keep you dry.
Neoprene boots – sturdy water shoes.
Neoprene gloves / mittens – optional.

Medication you may need i.e inhaler, EpiPen, heart medication, high sugar snacks.
Clothing which you are comfortable to use for light to moderate exercise, think jogging bottoms and long-sleeve base layers, if you get cold hands it is advisable to bring wool gloves.
No jeans or large full length coats, bathing suits are not enough.
Sigló Sea can provide a fleece under-suit to add to your own layers in case of colder weather.
Sunglasses and appropriate headwear which can be either a cap or warm beanie.
Vatn in an easily carried bottle preferably with a karabiner or clip.
Phones and other electronics should be carried in a waterproof case which floats or has a lanyard, Sigló Sea takes no responsibility for your valuables on the tour.
