Embark on a Tailored Golden Circle Adventure: Explore Iceland’s Iconic Sites and Unwind in the Secret Lagoon

This isn't just a tour; it's an invitation to immerse yourself in the heart of Iceland's wonders, at your own pace and tailored to your interests.

The Gullni hringurinn is an irresistible attraction for a multitude of reasons – it showcases Iceland's most captivating treasures: epic sagas, geothermal marvels, and awe-inspiring natural wonders. This expedition explores Þjóðgarðurinn í Þjóðgarði's historical treasures, unveils the awe-inspiring majesty of Gullfoss, and awakens your senses with the power of the Geysir Hot Spring. Our expert guides are your key to unlocking the secrets of the region's history and geology, making your journey not just memorable but truly enlightening.

Leynilónið

We will finish the day with a rejuvenating soak in the Leynilónið, Iceland's oldest natural hot spring. Located in the geothermal area of Flúðir, this enchanting pool has been a hidden gem since 1891, offering warm, mineral-rich waters surrounded by steaming vents and bubbling hot springs. Unlike the more commercialized hot springs, the Leynilónið retains its authentic charm, allowing you to unwind in a tranquil, natural setting—just as Icelanders have for generations.

Okkar Einkaferð caters to all explorers, whether you're a nature enthusiast or a history buff. Wander through picturesque landscapes, encountering Iceland's most iconic highlights along the way. But we don't stop there; we also unveil hidden gems, tucked-away wonders, and cultural treasures that are equally enchanting. If the weather smiles upon us, you might even find yourself pausing to admire the famously friendly Icelandic horses.

Our guides? They're not just experts; they're storytellers, sharing their intimate knowledge of the land and bringing Iceland's history and culture to life. Join us, and let your Golden Circle adventure begin – a journey where every step is a new chapter in your story of Iceland.

On our route are multiple lunch and/or dinner options. Food is not included in the tour, but our guides can advise you about different options and price points.

On the more casual and quick side of things, there is Geysir Bistro og Gullfoss Café, but for a more authentic experience, our favorites are:

  • Efsti Dalur – Renowned for its farm-to-table offerings, providing an authentic taste of local cuisine.
  • Tómatarbær í Fritheimar – Dine among the tomato plants inside the greenhouse for a truly unique food experience.

  • English speaking guide. Other languages are available, but has to be prearranged well in advance (German, Spanish, French & Czech)
  • Entrance to Kerið crater
  • Ticket for Hvammsvík Hot springs

Klæða sig eftir veðri.

It rains frequently, so rain gear is recommended.

Small hikes are possible if desired, so good shoes are recommended.

  • Gullfoss

Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, features a stunning two-tiered cascade plunging into a rugged basalt column-lined canyon. Located on the Hvítá River, this powerful waterfall offers breathtaking views year-round, with icy formations in winter and vibrant rainbows in summer.

  • Geysir

Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area, erupts every 5–8 minutes, with each eruption being slightly different. With patience, you will certainly have the opportunity to catch several eruptions. Here, you will also find ample souvenir shopping opportunities (or “Shopportunities”).

  • Lunch Stop

We have a variety of options available to us, this stop is flexible depending upon your personal preferences. A few of our favorite options are:

    Tómatarbær í Fritheimar

    Efsti Dalur Dairy Farm

    Geysir Glíma Restaurant

  • Þjóðgarðurinn í Þjóðgarði

Þingvellir is the birthplace of the world’s longest continually-operated parliament, where many of Iceland’s most historically significant decisions were made. The Alþingi Assembly dates back to 930 AD. Þingvellir is a place of remarkable natural beauty, situated in the rift valley between the diverging North American and Eurasian tectonic plates (one of only two places on Earth where one can see such a phenomenon on dry land). For these reasons, Þingvellir was named Iceland’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004.

  • Hvammsvík Hot Springs

Visitors can relax in naturally warm, mineral-rich waters, making it the perfect spot for rejuvenation amidst Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes.
