For your comfort, hot water is available onboard, helping you stay warm while traveling between viewing locations. The tour duration depends on weather conditions and aurora activity, allowing plenty of time to enjoy Iceland’s spectacular night skies.

The departure of Northern Light tour is decided daily upon multiple factors. In case of cancellation, you’ll be notified as soon as possible via email used during booking, usually around 16:00 icelandic time.
Our Chinese-language tours require a minimum of 10 participants to operate. In the unlikely event that the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will inform you as soon as possible.
The tour is by default operated by a 48–57-seat coach. If the number of participants is fewer than 19 on the departure, the tour may instead be operated by minibus.
For operational reasons, the Chinese-language tour may occasionally be combined with an English-language tour. Chinese-language guiding will still be provided.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed. Our guides use live weather, cloud-cover, and aurora forecasts to maximize your chances of seeing the Northern Lights.
The tour lasts approximately 4 hours, depending on weather, road, and viewing conditions.
If no Northern Lights are seen during your first attempt, you are entitled to one additional Northern Lights tour free of charge, subject to availability. The additional try is valid for 2 years from the date of your first attempt and can only be used by the original ticket holder.
Pickup may take up to 40 minutes. Please look for a vehicle marked “Magic Iceland Travel.”
No refund will be provided once the tour has departed.
