If you want more time behind the curtain of Seljalandsfoss or on the black sand at Reynisfjara, you take it. The day is yours.

You'll walk behind the falling water at Seljalandsfoss and slip through a narrow gap in the rock to find Gljúfrabúi hidden inside its canyon. At Skógafoss, spray drifts over you as a wide wall of water drops from the old sea cliffs. At Sólheimajökull an easy path leads you to the edge of the glacier, where blue ice and black ash layers meet. Then the coast opens up: the sea arch and cliffs of Dyrhólaey, the basalt columns and roaring waves of Reynisfjara, and the little village of Vík beneath its green hills.

Throughout the day your driver-guide is right there, sharing stories, small legends and practical tips about Iceland's nature, history and culture, so you don't just see the South Coast, you understand why it is so special.

Pick-up in the Capital Area
Your driver-guide picks you up at your accommodation anywhere in the Capital Area, and after a short introduction you head east along the South Coast, past lava fields, farmland and distant glaciers.
Cascada Seljalandsfoss

Walking and accessibility

This tour involves easy walks on uneven natural paths that can be wet, muddy or icy, so it is not suitable for guests with serious mobility limitations. The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
At Sólheimajökull we walk to the edge of the glacier and do not go onto the ice, so no glacier guide or special equipment is needed.
Reaching Gljúfrabúi means stepping over stones in a shallow stream. It is optional, and waterproof shoes help.
