Fiordos orientales

Visiting the Fiordos orientales in Iceland gives you a contrasting perspective of the country and its beauty. The weather can be quite different, but visiting in spring or summer will allow you to see the best of the Eastfjords. Lava caves, waterfalls, cute villages, and incredible hiking trails are a few of the things you will find here.

Seyðisfjörður, the picturesque town of the Eastfjords, is an artsy corner where every year in summer the Lunga Art Festival is celebrated. Inspiration and art creation are two of the things Seyðisfjörður is known for, and of course, the blue church at the end of the road that everyone loves.
