沃加尔

Vogar is a small seaside village on the northern shore of the Reykjanes peninsula, roughly halfway between Keflavík Airport and Reykjavík. Quiet and unhurried, it’s often passed through but rewards a short stop.

The coastline offers gentle walks, rich birdlife and views across Faxaflói bay, and the town makes a handy, low-key base close to the Blue Lagoon and the Geopark’s lava fields.
