You might have heard of 韦斯特曼群岛, or perhaps more about the famous festival of Þjóhátið that takes place here. Well, even though this festival is huge and we highly recommend you to go, we also think Vestmannaeyjar has a lot to offer at any time of the year. Ten islands conform this 38km long archipelago:

To get to the Westman Islands you can fly from Reykjavík or use the ferry. It always depends on the weather, but it is a must to visit. There are a lot of cool tours and museums to go to, and delicious local food to enjoy.
