Our first tasting stop introduces you to one of Reykjavik’s most creative kitchens. Here, you’ll enjoy smoked wild goose on sourdough with horseradish cream and pickled vegetables. This stop highlights modern Icelandic cuisine with strong ties to local ingredients and tradition.
Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur (The Famous Hot Dog Stand)
Visit Iceland’s most iconic hot dog stand, operating since 1937. Try a hot dog “with everything,” featuring fried onion, raw onion, sweet mustard, ketchup, and remoulade. This stop is a must for understanding everyday Icelandic street food culture.
