Further east, Skógafoss commands its own scale: a broad, misted curtain of water with an optional climb to the top and sweeping views across the coastal plain.

A stop at Sólheimajökull Glacier places you at the edge of ancient ice before the tour continues to Reynisfjara, Iceland's most iconic black sand beach. Clothing & footwear
