Geysir Geothermal Area

Meet the original geyser—Geysir—though these days, it’s mostly its energetic little sibling, Strokkur, putting on a show. Every few minutes, it launches a jet of scalding water high into the sky, a reminder that the earth beneath your feet is alive. The bubbling hot springs, rising steam, and that unmistakable scent of geothermal energy make this a truly otherworldly experience. Stay ready—Strokkur has a knack for catching people off guard!

Gullfoss Waterfall

Golden by name, golden by nature. Gullfoss is one of Iceland’s most breathtaking waterfalls, cascading down two tiers into a rugged canyon. Feel the sheer power of the falls from up close—or, if you prefer, from the warmth of the cozy café nearby with a hot drink in hand.

Duration: 7-11 hours depending on pick-up location. 7-8 hours from Midgard Adventure, Hvolsvöllur. 10-11 hours from Reykjavík.

Lunch: Food is not included. We stop at a local restaurant, usually Friðheimar. For short notice bookings during summer, we can not guarantee a reservation at Friðheimar.
