Set off on a cozy small-group Northern Lights hunt as your guide leads you away from Reykjavík’s city lights and into the darker countryside. Traveling in a comfortable 16-seat minibus allows for a more personal, relaxed experience as your guide monitors cloud cover and aurora forecasts to find the most promising viewing location of the night.

During the journey, enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and water, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere on board. To make the evening even more special, each guest receives a small Icelandic surprise-a unique touch you won’t find on standard aurora tours.

When the conditions look right, step out into the crisp night air to watch the sky for the magical appearance of the Aurora Borealis. Begin your Northern Lights chase as your guide leads the group away from Reykjavík’s city lights and into the darker countryside. Your guide continuously monitors cloud cover and solar activity to select the most promising viewing location for the night. Enjoy a cozy atmosphere on board with hot chocolate, tea, and water as you travel.
Once the ideal spot is reached, step outside to observe the sky and wait for the Aurora Borealis to appear. Your guide will share tips, stories, and help you understand the science behind the lights. If the aurora shows up, you’ll have time to watch, photograph, and enjoy the moment before returning to Reykjavík.
