As we reach our viewpoint, you will be struck by the unparalleled peace and tranquility of the Icelandic countryside. Far from the city noise, all you might hear is the sound of your own breath. The views are breathtaking, offering a clear panorama over Reykjavík, the charming town of Mosfellsbær, and the volcanic Reykjanes peninsula with its distant, dormant volcanoes. If the horizon is clear, you can even spot the majestic steam rising from geothermal fields and the iconic Snæfellsjökull glacier across the bay.

A Celebration of Summer Nature

This tour is a unique opportunity to experience Iceland's summer nature up close. Ask your expert guide about the flora, from the vibrant purple Alaska Lupin that covers the fields to the powerful Angelica Archangelica, a healing plant steeped in history. As we ride, listen for the beautiful breeding song of the local birds, filling the bright night with music.

Important Details & Logistics

Group Size: To ensure a personal experience, we limit group sizes to a maximum of 8 people (or up to 16 by special request).
Booking Early: Due to its popularity, we highly recommend booking this tour early during your stay in Iceland to secure your spot.

Pickup & Meeting Point: We offer free pickup from most hotels in the greater Reykjavík area. Please note: Reykjavík city has designated special "Tourist Bus Stops" in the downtown area, as direct pickups are prohibited there. Your nearest bus stop is usually just a short walk away. You can find the closest stop to you at www.busstop.is.

Alternatively, you are welcome to meet us directly at our basecamp, which is conveniently located only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavík.

Pricing & Riding Options:

Prices are per person.
Shared Ride: Each ATV seats two people (driver and passenger). You must have two participants in your booking to select this option.
Solo Ride: Single riders, or groups with an odd number of people (e.g., 3, 5, 7), must book at least one Solo Ride.

Requirements:

Drivers: All drivers must possess and present a fully valid driving license.
Passengers: Minimum age for a passenger is 6 years old. Children up to 17 years old pay the child rate.

What’s Included? We’ve got you covered! We provide all the necessary riding gear, including warm, wind-and-waterproof overalls, helmets, and gloves to keep you comfortable. We also offer free pickup from hotels and bus stops in the Reykjavik area.

What do you need? Just bring your full driving license and a pair of sturdy shoes.

Essential Items:

Driving License: A physical, fully valid driving license is required for all drivers.
Footwear: Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended.

Clothing Advice (Dress for the Weather!):

Summer / Warm Days: The wind chill on the ATV can be a little cold! We strongly recommend wearing thermal base layers, a sweater (wool or fleece), and good socks.
Accessories: A thin hat and a neck warmer (buff) or scarf are highly recommended to wear under the helmet. (Yes – we are in Iceland )
Sun glasses or these eclipse glasses to see perhaps the sunspots on the surface of the Sun.

We Provide: Warm, wind-and-waterproof riding overalls, helmets, and riding gloves.
Available at Base: If you get cold easily, hand and toe warmers are available for purchase at our basecamp.

We pick you up at 21:00 and head to our countryside basecamp, just 15 minutes from downtown Reykjavík.
From there, we hit the trails around Lake Hafravatn and up Mount Hafrafell.
You will feel worlds away surrounded by rugged nature, yet you will enjoy stunning panoramic views of Reykjavík and Mosfellsbær bathed in the golden glow of the midnight sun.

Pickup Time: Hotel pickups start approximately 30 minutes prior to the tour departure time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby or at your designated bus stop.
Weather: This tour operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately for the Icelandic climate (warm layers, waterproofs).
Gratuities: Pickup and guiding are included. Gratuities (tips) are not mandatory but are always appreciated if you enjoyed the service.

Health & Accessibility:

Physical Restrictions: This activity is not recommended for travelers with back problems or pregnant travelers due to the bumpy nature of the trails.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
