  Your adventure begins at the Glacier Lagoon parking lot in Vatnajökull National Park. The official address is: Í Hornafirði, Jökulsárlón, Glacier Lagoon, 781 Höfn

  Alternatively, you can type "Ice Pic Journeys" into Google Maps for accurate directions. This location is about a 5-hour drive from Reykjavík, so we highly recommend staying at an accommodation nearby.

  Proszę przyjechać 15 minutes before your scheduled tour to use the restrooms, as there will be none at the glacier. Your guide will be waiting across from the restrooms in the bus parking lot, next to our 4×4 vehicle marked with the Ice Pic Journeys logo.

  4-Hour Glacier Hike

  Off-Road Drive to Vatnajökull Glacier
  Hop into one of our 4×4 vehicles for an adventurous drive toward Vatnajökull Glacier. After 10 minutes, we’ll turn onto an F-Road, making a rugged journey across an ancient glacial plain. The drive takes approximately 30 minut, during which your guide will share fascinating stories about the region’s history and geology.

  Upon arrival at the glacier parking lot, your guide will provide you with essential gear, including:

  We’ll then embark on a 30-minute scenic hike to the glacier's edge. The terrain is mostly flat with slight rocky sections, making it accessible for most fitness levels. Our pace will always match the comfort of our guests.

  Exploring the Glacier
  Once on the ice, you’ll get a feel for walking with crampons as we ascend Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier. Your guide will lead you through stunning crystal-blue ice formations, deep moulins, and other mesmerizing glacial features. The surreal landscape will make you feel as though you've stepped onto another planet.

  1-Hour Photoshoot at Diamond Beach & Glacier Lagoon

  After the glacier hike, we’ll take you to Diamentowa Plaża, where icebergs wash ashore in a spectacular display of nature. This is the perfect place for stunning profesjonalne zdjęcia—whether solo, with friends, or family.

  Next, we’ll visit Fjallsárlón lub Laguna lodowcowa Jökulsárlón, where massive icebergs drift peacefully in the blue waters. Your guide will capture breathtaking images of you against this iconic Icelandic backdrop.

  1-Hour 30 Public Zodiac Boat Tour

  Board a Zodiac boat for an unforgettable ride through Fjallsárlón lub Laguna lodowcowa Jökulsárlón. Glide past floating icebergs and get up close to the majestic Lodowiec Vatnajökull. If you're lucky, you may even spot seals lounging on the ice!

  Return to Glacier Lagoon

  After an action-packed day, we’ll drive you back to the Glacier Lagoon parking lot where you’ll say farewell to your guide and leave with incredible memories of Iceland’s glacial wonders.
