Discover the beautiful landscape opening up between the mountains and sea in southern Iceland. We ride along the Gljúfurá river to the banks of the Ölfusá river, with views of the famous volcanos Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull, weather permitting. We stop for a lunch break before continuing our ride towards the mountains and along Mt. Reykjafjall, where both sheep and horses graze in the summer. Awaiting us back at our farm are coffee and home-baked cake. During the winter season, we stop at our hotel for soup of the day before continuing our ride towards the mountains.

Pick up and drop off, 5-6 hours riding 20 km, lunch included (lunch box or soup of the day), coffee and cake after the tour. We provide helmets and rain gear/winter overalls.

This tour is offered all year round. Pick-up in Reykjavik codziennie o godz. 8:00. Return to Reykjavík ca. 17:15. Note that pick up from hotels in Hafnarfjörður, Kópavogur i Mosfellsbær jest o 7:30 and pick up from Hveragerði and Selfoss is at 8:45. Please double check your booking a day or two before arrival for the pick up location, as they may change without notice. This tour is for everyone but participants should be in good physical condition. The tour is subject to weather conditions and might be changed.
