A footbridge has been built and impressive lighting in this part of the tunnel highlights the powerful volcanic activity that formed the tunnel. The total tour is approximately 3.0 hours with one hour in the cave.

Note the pickup is operated by Reykjavík Excursions (and marked "Reykjavik Excursions") so be ready in front of your selected pick up destination from 8:30am for the 9 am tour (or 12:30 pm for the 13.00 tour). The sign on bus will state "Tour Pick-up".
