Kaffi Lára – El Grilló Bar

Founded in 2001 and named after the local El Grilló beer, Kaffi Lára – El Grilló Bar sits by the lagoon in the heart of Seyðisfjörður. This family-run, walk-in spot is the town’s social hub, serving grilled Icelandic dishes, quality coffee, home-baked cakes and a broad selection of beers, including locally brewed options.

With a warm, casual atmosphere and frequent live music in summer, it draws ferry passengers, hikers and locals alike. Groups of eight or more can reserve, but most guests simply walk in for a drink and a bite.
