After successfully completing of the course, you will be a certified dry suit diver and therewith qualified to dive in Silfra

Our PADI Dry Suit Diver Course provides intensive instruction in dry suit diving and prepares you for dry suit dives at locations such as Silfra. The course is taught in one day and includes a theory and pool session, followed by two open water dives at a local dive site. After successfully completing of the course, you will be a certified dry suit diver and therewith qualified to dive in Silfra!

Please note that this is a physically demanding course and includes multiple dives in Iceland's cold water conditions.

  • One Knowledge Development session with your instructor
  • 1 Confined Open Water session
  • 2 Open Water Dives
  • PADI Certification fee
  • All equipment necessary to complete the course
  • Transport to and from the Reykjavík Area

  • Your dive certification card
  • Long thermal underwear and thick socks
  • Hat and Gloves to wear between dives

  • A 100% charge applies if canceled within 1 days of the start time.

Please note

Participants must:

be a certified diver at the level of PADI Open Water or equivalent

be at minimum 150cm / maximum 200cm

  • be at minimum 45kg / maximum 120kg
  • be at least 18 years of age (signature of legal guardian required for under 18 year old participants)
  • be physically fit
  • be able to communicate in English
  • be ready to wear a sometimes tight & constricting dry suit
  • not be pregnant
