Vacaciones de verano en Westfjords

Visit the stunning remote Westfjords in summer, only 35 minutes away by flight. Truly different, the Westfjords region is often referred to as Another Iceland, strongly recommended to visit by Lonely Planet and travel bloggers as Iceland’s Best Kept Secret, with its steep cliffs, deep fjords, high mountains and colorful white sandy beaches. On this tour, we take you to a surprising adventure on a 4×4 Super-Jeep. You get to see the majestic stunning Látrabjarg, the western-most point of Iceland and the biggest bird-cliff in Europe (bird season April-August), and Rauðasandur, the unique red colored beach set amidst black cliffs and turquoise blue Atlantic Ocean. Our local guide will take you to a seal colony where grey seals and/or harbor seals are often seen at a close range. (Season 18. June – 30. April) Learn about these playful and curious animals, because of their curiosity you can expect to get some excellent pictures of these beautiful creatures in picturesque landscape. At the end of the day, relax in one of the many natural spring pools. Arnarfjörður is widely considered the most beautiful fjord in the Westfjords for its diverse landscape, and while driving to the impressive waterfall Dynjandi, one of the most beautiful and photogenic waterfalls in Iceland we will experience magnificent mountains and a view over this beautiful fjord.
