Þórsmörk valley, a cinematic landscape nestled between two glaciers that offer panoramic views. This destination derives its name from Thor, the Viking God of Thunder. As we make our way to Þórsmörk from the Ring Road, prepare to cross rivers cascading down from the glaciers, showcasing the aftermath of the powerful and rapid flood caused by the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in April 2010.
Our journey continues to the picturesque Stakkholtsgjá canyon, featuring a waterfall where, if time and mood permit, we will go on a hike. Þórsmörk stands as one of the country's most renowned hiking areas, and standing atop its hills and mountains is a truly breathtaking experience.
On our return from Þórsmörk, we will make a stop at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and Gljúfrabúi. El precio es por vehículo.
