Ferðin hefst frá Ísafirði klukkan 20:00 og stendur yfir í tvo tíma. Þetta er fullkomin ferð fyrir þá sem vilja njóta kyrrðar, miðnætursólar og einstaks tækifæri til að sjá ísjakann og hvali í bakgarðinum okkar.

We do not supply overalls or extra clothing for this trip, so please come prepared for cold Icelandic weather with the following:

Warm outdoor clothing. While our boats, Sif y Íris, are fully equipped with warm interiors, the best spot for whale watching is outside. We recommend wearing layers to stay warm!
Chaqueta impermeable (and trousers, if you have them)
Hat y guantes.
Gafas de sol.
Protector solar.

And don’t forget your camera!

Note that safe shades/solar eclipse glasses will be provided by Borea.

The journey begins at our boat, located across from our gear storage at Mávagarður, where our guide, easily recognizable by the Borea logo, will be waiting to greet you. Once aboard, we’ll spend about three hours exploring the stunning Ísafjarðardjúp, searching for whales and seabirds while also finding the best location to view the solar eclipse. Our expert guide and captain will ensure we’re in the optimal spot to witness this incredible celestial event. Afterward, we’ll head back to our base in Ísafjörður, taking in the sights and sounds of the sea along the way.

Tenga en cuenta

Este recorrido se realiza íntegramente en nuestro barco y, por lo tanto, está disponible para cualquier persona con capacidad limitada para caminar. Sin embargo, nuestro barco tiene algunos escalones empinados, tanto para subir a bordo, mientras se mueve entre cubiertas, como para llegar a la zona interior de asientos. Por lo tanto, no es accesible en silla de ruedas ni para personas con movilidad muy limitada.

La edad mínima es 4 años, ya que no llevamos chalecos salvavidas para bebés a bordo. Los padres son responsables de mantener a los niños seguros mientras están a bordo.
