Ferðin hefst frá Ísafirði klukkan 20:00 og stendur yfir í tvo tíma. Þetta er fullkomin ferð fyrir þá sem vilja njóta kyrrðar, miðnætursólar og einstaks tækifæri til að sjá ísjakann og hvali í bakgarðinum okkar.

We do not supply overalls or extra clothing for this trip, so please come prepared for cold Icelandic weather with the following:

Warm outdoor clothing. While our boats, Sif und Íris, are fully equipped with warm interiors, the best spot for whale watching is outside. We recommend wearing layers to stay warm!
Wasserdichte Jacke (and trousers, if you have them)
Hat und Handschuhe.
Sonnenbrille.
Sonnencreme.

And don’t forget your camera!

Note that safe shades/solar eclipse glasses will be provided by Borea.

Walbeobachtung
The journey begins at our boat, located across from our gear storage at Mávagarður, where our guide, easily recognizable by the Borea logo, will be waiting to greet you. Once aboard, we’ll spend about three hours exploring the stunning Ísafjarðardjúp, searching for whales and seabirds while also finding the best location to view the solar eclipse. Our expert guide and captain will ensure we’re in the optimal spot to witness this incredible celestial event. Afterward, we’ll head back to our base in Ísafjörður, taking in the sights and sounds of the sea along the way.

Diese Tour findet vollständig auf unserem Boot statt und steht daher jedem mit eingeschränkter Gehfähigkeit zur Verfügung. Unser Boot verfügt jedoch über einige steile Stufen, sowohl um an Bord zu gelangen, während es sich zwischen den Decks bewegt, als auch zum Innensitzbereich. Es ist daher nicht mit dem Rollstuhl oder für Personen mit sehr eingeschränkter Mobilität erreichbar.

Das Mindestalter beträgt 4 Jahre, da wir keine Schwimmwesten für Kleinkinder an Bord mitführen, die Eltern sind dafür verantwortlich, die Sicherheit der Kinder an Bord zu gewährleisten.
