Experience Iceland's two most celebrated attractions in a single, seamlessly guided private day. This tour pairs the classic Círculo Dorado with a visit to the world-famous Laguna Azul – one of Iceland's most iconic wellness destinations.
Your group travels entirely privately in a dedicated vehicle: a private sedan for 1-3 guests or a minivan privada for 4-8. A professional English-speaking guide accompanies you for the full day, adapting the pace and experience to your group's preferences and interests. No strangers share your vehicle, and no fixed group schedule dictates your day.
The route takes you through Parque Nacional «Lir, Geysir, y Gullfoss – some of Iceland's most celebrated and historically significant landmarks. At each stop, time is yours to explore, with your guide available to provide context or simply give you space to take it all in.
The day ends at the Laguna Azul, where the warm blue waters offer a fitting close after hours of open landscapes and dramatic waterfalls. A bistro and swim-up bar are available on-site for food and drinks at your own expense.

Your first stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly drift apart. Here you can walk through the historic rift valley, enjoy beautiful views of lakes and lava fields, and learn about the site of Iceland’s ancient parliament. If conditions allow, you may also stop at Oxarafoss, a charming waterfall located within the park and surrounded by striking volcanic cliffs.
The journey continues to the Geysir geothermal area, a fascinating landscape filled with bubbling hot springs and steaming vents. The highlight here is Strokkur geyser, which erupts every few minutes, sending a powerful burst of hot water high into the air.
Just a short drive away is Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most impressive waterfalls, where glacial water rushes down two dramatic stages into a deep canyon, creating unforgettable views and mist rising from the falls.
The adventure continues to Kerid Crater, a colorful volcanic crater lake known for its striking red volcanic slopes and vivid blue water. A short walk around the rim provides excellent views of this unique geological formation.
After exploring the Golden Circle highlights, the tour continues toward the famous Blue Lagoon. Here you will have time to relax in the warm, mineral rich geothermal waters surrounded by dramatic lava fields. The milky blue water and peaceful setting provide the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Please note that Blue Lagoon tickets are not included in initial price but can be added at check out page.
Finally, sit back and enjoy the comfortable drive back to Reykjavik, where your driver guide will drop you off at your accommodation, completing a memorable day filled with Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders and a relaxing spa experience.
Your private vehicle drops you back directly at your Reykjavík accommodation. Estimated return time is early evening, depending on pace during the day. Door to door, start to finish.
Food and drinks are not included. Cafés and snack stops are available along the Golden Circle route. A bistro and swim-up bar are available at the Blue Lagoon at extra cost.
