Kirkjufell

If you are a fan of Juego de Tronos, you might remember this mountain as Arrow Head in the show. It is 463 meters high, and its shape is unique in the world. The striking slopes of Kirkjufell attract hundreds of people each year to photograph the mountain. But this mountain has a little companion: Kirkjufellsfoss. This small waterfall can be found a few meters from the base of the hill, and it is the perfect frame for a beautiful picture. It doesn’t matter if its summer or winter; it is always lovely.

In Kirkjufell, you can experience hiking too. There is a steep trail for you to follow to the top of the mountain. It can take you 1.5 hours to go up and the same to descend.
