Gauksmyri Lodge

Situated right by the Icelandic Ring Road, Gauksmyri Lodge offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant. Hvammstangi village centre is a 10-minute drive away.

The basic rooms have either shared or private bathroom facilities.

A summertime lunch buffet and a barbecue dinner buffet is served at the in-house restaurant. A dish of the day is served on evenings between 15th September and 15th May. Breakfast is served each morning.

The lodge offers horseback riding, hiking and horse shows. Free birdwatching trips are also offered, and parking is free on-site.

The small village of Laugarbakki is 4.3 miles away. Reykjavik city centre is a 2.5-hour drive from the property.
