Wintertour am Meer

This tour is suitable for beginners as well as experienced riders!

In winter and early spring the scenery along the coastline near Húsavík can be absolutely stunning. Nothing beats going out for a ride through the pristine white landscape with a wide view over the deepblue ocean and the snowy mountains on the other side of the bay. 

Because much of the winter and spring our regular trails will be blocked by too much snow or simply be too slippery, we now offer an adapted version of our popular Seaside tour during this period of the year. The ride will take you as much and as close to the coastline as possible, depending on the weather and ground conditions.

Our horses are strong and experienced and we do our best to find the perfect match for each rider. A guide from Saltvík leads all tours and gives necessary information about the ride before the tour starts.
